At Unconditional, we realize our nonprofit is a little…unconventional. This brings lots of questions! Read below for some common question and answers.

FAQ

Are you trying to get women to quit their jobs?

In short? NO! We’re here to be a support for women in the adult entertainment industry. Whether they hate their job, love their job, or are confused by their job. We’re here to offer a listening ear, connections to resources, and to advocate for equal treatment of sex workers in society.

What does club management think of you?

It depends on the club. We always go into strip clubs with respect. This is a business. We are guests. We ask for permission to go inside, go to the dressing room, etc. We respect that if a woman is working, and doesn’t want to talk to us, we’re not going to make her uncomfortable and force conversation. Some clubs, we’re still building trust. Some club management loves us, and will tell us which women might need some extra encouragement right now. So, it depends!

Are you a faith based organization?

We prefer the term faith motivated. Why? Because absolutely no services are contingent on someone’s personal spiritual beliefs or actions. We are motivated by how Jesus treated sex workers while on Earth. We believe that God’s love is radical, and that Jesus would want to be friends with the women we meet everyday. But no one is ever required or pressured to: go to church, sit in a bible study, sign a belief statement, change their job, change their actions, change their beliefs, etc to receive support from Unconditional.

Do you serve transwomen in the industry as well?

Absolutely.

What age do you serve?

18+! If you are a minor involved in sex work, reach out to Ascent 121 or Allies.
